**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
As a HR Officer you will:

- Review vacancy requirements with line managers and write appropriate job descriptions which are compliant with BASF’s Recruitment Policies & Guidelines and UK employment legislation.
- Collaborate with line managers to discuss, suggest and plan appropriate selection methods and processes, according to role requirements, including structured interviews and other selection approaches, where appropriate, in order to meet recruitment timelines.
- Bring new ideas to BASF’s recruitment activities, to support the Operating Divisions business strategy and promote BASF as an attractive employer. This for example could include attending and presenting at careers fairs and events.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Educated to A-level standard or equivalent and ideally with a HR qualification, e.g. level 3 Foundation Certificate in Human Resources Practice, or working towards level 5 Diploma in Human Resources Practice.
- Several years’ experience in a HR role including talent acquisition/ recruitment & selection activities.
- Ability to give presentations to internal and external stakeholders (eg at careers fairs).
- Experience in innovative advertising strategies would be beneficial.
- Experience of administering Ability and Occupational Personality Questionnaires would be beneficial.
- Valid driving license for the UK would be beneficial. Some travel is required to attend offsite interviews or careers fairs.
