Our client is a leading automotive manufacturing company known for its commitment to innovation, quality, and excellence. With a rich history of producing high-performance components, they continue to push the boundaries of automotive technology.

We are looking to recruit a highly skilled and dedicated HR Generalist / Advisor to join the team and play a pivotal role in their success.

As an HR Generalist / Advisor, you will be an integral part of the HR team, responsible for supporting the HR function with a focus on UK employment law, manufacturing processes, and HR best practices. You will play a key role in ensuring that the business remains compliant, efficient, and people-centric.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- ** UK Employment Law Expertise**: Stay updated with the latest developments in UK employment law and ensure the company's policies and practices align with legal requirements.
- ** Manufacturing Experience**: Utilise your manufacturing industry knowledge to address unique HR challenges in the sector, including workforce planning, end to end employee lifecycle, and employee engagement.
- ** Employee Relations**: Handle employee relations matters, resolve disputes, and provide guidance to employees and managers to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
- ** Recruitment and Onboarding**: Work with the talent team to ensure a seamless recruitment process, and manage employee lifecycle.
- ** Performance Management**: Support performance management processes, including goal setting, feedback, and performance improvement plans.
- ** HR Policies and Procedures**: Develop and maintain HR policies, procedures, and documentation to ensure consistency and compliance.
- ** HR Reporting**: Prepare and analyse HR metrics and reports to inform decision-making and improve HR processes.
- ** Employee Development**: Collaborate with managers to identify training and development needs, and implement programs to enhance employee skills and career growth.
- ** HR Projects**: Support the HR Manager with HR projects and initiatives aimed at improving organisational effectiveness.

**Qualifications**:

- Qualified in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- CIPD Level 5 or above
- Mininum of 5 years experience in a HR role
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
- Proven experience in a manufacturing environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Detail-oriented, organised, and capable of managing multiple tasks
- Proficiency in HRIS software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration skills
