**What is the Business Industrial Placement Programme?**

We’re recruiting for a pre or post graduate student with a real passion for data to come and join our Business Industrial Placement Programme.

You’ll be based at Heysham 1 Power Station, where you’ll have the opportunity to work alongside colleagues focusing on business improvement. On the scheme, you'll have the chance to learn through hands-on experience under the guidance of highly skilled and experienced colleagues.

- Salary of £21,200

**Training, development and support for you**:
The skills and experience gained on such a varied industrial placement offers you an introduction to a fast-paced, vital, and dynamic area.

**Where you’ll work**:
You’ll be based at our Heysham 1 Power Station, within the Performance Improvement Department.

**What you’ll need to join the team**:

- Ability to use of Business Intelligence analytics data management tools.
- Experience in producing data visualisations, detailed reporting and analytics underpinned with clear business commentary.
- Ability to turn large quantities of complex data into insights which can be used to inform decision making and drive business benefit.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills including the ability to communicate professionally and sensitively.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new challenges and thrive in agile work environments.
- The ability to operate within a team and to work efficiently and sensitively with all team members.
- ** To be appointed to this role, you will need to meet the criteria for Security Vetting which will, ordinarily, require you to have been a resident of the UK for at least 3 of the last 5 years.**
