Community Connections Officer Role Profile

Community Connections is a multi-disciplinary team delivering services across Homelessness, Housing Improvement, Disabled Facilities Grants, Community Safety, Community Youth, and Community Development.

Whilst it would be useful to have some experience in the inspection of properties and knowledge around Parts 1 and 2 of the Housing Act 2004, it is not essential as training is provided. It is vital that you are able to multitask, this includes elements of administration and the ability to use technology. Attention to detail is essential.

As a Community Connections Officer, you will be working as part of a team to provide accurate and detailed approaches, based in legislation, to improve housing conditions. Full training is offered, and officers are mentored whilst undertaking the role.

You must be happy to work independently and flexibly as you will be required to work from home whilst also working from various locations in the City.
