**Full-Time Teaching Assistant - Primary (flexible on year group)**

If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Full-Time Teaching Assistant in a mainstream primary school in Daventry, Northamptonshire.

As a Full-Time Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the teaching and learning process within the school. Your main responsibilities will include:

- Assisting the class teacher in preparing and delivering engaging lessons.
- Providing one-on-one support to students with additional learning needs.
- Assisting with classroom management and maintaining a positive learning environment.
- Supporting students in their social and emotional development.
- Collaborating with the teaching staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students.
- Helping to assess students' progress and providing feedback to the class teacher.
- Assisting with administrative tasks related to student records and classroom resources.

**Requirements**:

- Experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
- A genuine passion for working with children and a commitment to their educational and personal development.
- Flexibility to work with different year groups and adapt to varying classroom environments.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Basic knowledge of classroom technology and the ability to assist students with their educational technology needs.
- A relevant qualification in Teaching Assistance or Education is desirable but not essential.
