**The Role**:

- Responsibility includes the full scope of our client’s demand planning network, reporting to the Group Demand and Supply Leader, and supporting the business monthly cadence for planning as well as the tactical horizon.
- Designing and implement consistent demand planning business processes/ways of working for planning working closely with group S&OP leader
- Assure Single number in Planning/Financial plan (one Volume/value forecast)
- Improving and sustaining capability for those involved in the planning process. (Demand short, mid, and long term)
- Analyse and improve trends and promotional activity planning
- Lead monthly KPI analysis & action planning across the demand planning community; including but not limited to: volume trend analysis, forecast accuracy and forecast bias.
- Co-Lead the S&OP enhancement plans with the Business process owners to secure S&OP maturity level increase towards IBP, emphasis on demand planning
- Design and share forecasting and planning training as necessary to build the planning community capabilities
- Support the formulation of demand for innovations and renovations, representing demand planning and IBP in monthly innovation forums when required
- Drive improved forecasting techniques and build in collaboration with the markets
- Assess planning process gaps and design/ implement standard operational procedures, whilst leveraging and rolling out best practice across the group
- Co-lead the rollout of new planning tools and enhance the use of current planning practices in APO, collaborating with IT and the markets
- Support the efforts for process harmonization and data harmonisation
- Ideally degree educated or equivalent
- Experience of Demand Planning Leadership (Gained within an FMCG, Pharma environment)
- Experience of managing Demand planning on an EMEA, APAC, Global level would be strongly preferred
- Experience in a multi-site/market matrix led structure is essential
- Worked within a mature S&OP process environment
- A detailed and hands on understanding of SAP/APO/IBP and related tools/systems
- Experience in process design
- Experienced in Change management for demand planning
- Strong interpersonal skills coupled with the drive and energy to play a central role in the development of this fast paced and evolving business
- Flexibility and a willingness to ‘go the extra mile’
- Able to manage large quantities of data
