**Position Description**

**CFO (Chief Financial Officer) - Volvo Trucks UK & Ireland**

**Salary: £150,000 Bonus based on achieving target and Company Car**

Join Volvo Trucks UK & Ireland as our CFO and be part of a commercial team that drives business performance to achieve our objectives.
As CFO, you will be a member of the Volvo Truck Market UK & Ireland Executive Management Team, reporting to the Managing Director of Volvo Trucks UK & Ireland. You will also hold the role of Company Law and Order (CLO) for Volvo Group UK (legal entity). As CFO, you will play a crucial role in steering the organisation towards profitable long and short-term decisions. Your primary responsibility will be to manage the Business Control planning process and activities, ensuring their proper execution and developing a robust commercial risk management strategy.

**Responsibilities**:

- Aligning sales business strategies with local market requirements.
- Develop action plans and tools to support a profitable, effective, and efficient function.
- Creating and implementing key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor functional performance and provide necessary reporting analysis.
- Generate financial information for market actuals, forecasts, estimates, and business plans.
- Contribute to strategic and business decisions to secure the financial impact of activities.
- Playing a key role in market governance, such as Business Review Meetings or legal boards.
- Participate in the development of new business strategies, segments, and establishments.
- Evaluate commercial risks and opportunities, including residual values and service contracts.
- Oversee internal control processes and the implementation of authorisation rules and the Volvo Truck Business manual.
- Lead and develop a team of highly skilled and professional controllers.

**Qualifications and skills**:

- Qualified accountant with significant experience operating at the CFO/Senior Finance level.
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in Finance Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organisation.
- Collaborative mindset with strong networking abilities.
- Customer-oriented approach.
- Proven track record in a multinational organisation, demonstrating a balance of strategic and operational thinking.
- Independent thinker with the ability to challenge stakeholders constructively.
- Strong financial acumen and the ability to provide valuable insights to drive decision-making.
- Exceptional leadership skills and the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Proficient in navigating complex financial landscapes and delivering results in a dynamic environment.
