**The role**:
The purpose of this role is to establish and lead the partnership with Amazon across EMEA. This role has a dual scope managing both external relationships and negotiations with Amazon and internal strategic planning and execution of Amazon related activities across subsidiaries and Distributor markets.

Key objective of the role is to drive profitable growth for Kao with Amazon and maximise key commercial opportunities.

**What you will do**:
**Lead Pan EU agreement**:

- Deliver the 3 year strategic plan to take Kao Salon from the UK/DE market led agreements to PAN EU approach (UK/GER/IT/NL/SE) in 2024.
- Learn from 2023 agreements and understand potential issues/challenges.
- Align cost prices across EU markets to avoid cross border sourcing.
- 2024 manage the central EU trade relationship negotiating terms with one single Amazon EU Vendor Manager.
- Work closely with the local Amazon teams through this transition and ongoing.

**Lead Amazon Growth Strategy**:

- Owner and creator of Group Amazon strategy. Defining key Amazon growth priorities and programs and lead their implementation across local market organizations and corporate functions.
- Create and track Amazon KPIs monthly at both a local and group level.
- Ensure effective translation and execution of the Amazon and Kao Salon joint strategy / priorities in local marketing & sales & secure full cross functional support and alignment at local/global level.
- Differentiating the Amazon Portfolio (Amazon specific skus/bundles/packaging/sizes)
- Asset Management (A+ pages, how to videos)
- Collaborate with Education to leverage hairdressing credentials and community
- Develop and implement Salon Affiliate programme

**Promotions and Media**:

- Review Amazon media agencies x group and recommend agency partner for all countries to use. Owner of global agency relationship.
- Support the countries implementing promotional campaigns (whether this is through offers or AMS campaigns) to achieve sales including best practice on creating online banners, brand pages, offers and management of SEO.
- Advise on budget spend and improve performance for Amazon advertising platforms.
- Analyse performance data to help create opportunities to up sell, cross sell products.

**Community**:

- Provide direction and enable Regional Amazon manager
- Work closely with countries to build Amazon capabilities and provide ammunition for local executions
- Drive ecommerce effectiveness / efficiency by sharing learning and defining best practices with the broader E-Commerce network

**New countries/categories**:

- Lead the expansion of Kao Salon Amazon business into new markets (eg. Nordics, Turkey, Poland, France, Spain and UAE), partnering with local markets to deliver a successful launch.
- Lead and direct new countries with terms and conditions, assortment considerations, content creation and ongoing management.
- Identify new opportunities for Kao to expand its category portfolio on Amazon in existing and new countries.
- Identify supply chain considerations and global financial opportunities and risks.

**What you will need**:

- 6+ years FMCG account management
- 3+ years managing Amazon platforms (ideally both vendor and seller central)
- Strong numeracy and analytical skills
- Recent experience of working in an ecommerce or digital role is essential
- Ability to negotiate, implement and manage business plans with customers.
