Here at Blackpool Pleasure Beach, we are looking to recruit a new Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our Park Services team.
- **Main Duties**:_
- Help to maintain the appearance of Pleasure Beach grounds and gardens.
- Carry out the safe and proper use of power tools and other gardening equipment.
- Strimming of grassed areas and mowing lawns.
- A natural green thumb is a huge benefit, although thorough training is provided.
- Demonstrate a high standard of personal appearance and cleanliness.
- Ensure that all equipment used is maintained and kept clean.
- Hold a good understanding of risk assessments, standard operating procedures, fire risk assessments and COSHH assessments.
- Ensure that operational systems and procedures are understood and adhered to.
- Work closely with your other team members to ensure that the department functions as a team and that all information is communicated.
- This is not a customer facing department, however customer enquiries may come your way and are required to be dealt with in a friendly and helpful manner.

A full driving licence is essential.
