Job Summary

The Ground Handling Agent role is a critical position within NHV GROUP, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our flying program. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for processing passengers, baggage, and freight through the terminal, while also loading and unloading aircraft.

Responsibilities
  • Passenger and Baggage Handling: Check in passengers, manifest baggage and freight, and ensure timely processing through the terminal.
  • Security Screening: Conduct security screening of baggage, freight, and passengers to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Aircraft Handling: Load and unload aircraft, and assist with fueling, turnaround, and cleaning as required.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to passengers, responding to their needs and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with other in-house teams, including Operations, Engineering, and Flight Crew, to deliver a seamless operation.
  • Facilities Maintenance: Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organization within the terminal and base facilities.
Labour Conditions
  • Shift Work: Work a variety of shifts, including Monday to Friday, with flexibility to adapt to changing operational requirements.
  • Manual Handling: Frequently handle baggage and freight, requiring a moderate level of physical fitness.
  • Weather Conditions: Work in all weather conditions, both indoors and outdoors.
Requirements
  • Experience: At least 1 year of aviation or relevant operational experience.
  • Certifications: Hold DNXCT certification for X-Ray equipment operation, and additional qualifications as deemed necessary.
  • Language: Proficient in English, with a professional level of understanding, speaking, and writing.
