**JOB DESCRIPTION**

**POST** Business Support Administrator

**REPORTS TO**: Finance and Office Manager

**HOURS**:29.6

**SALARY**:£22,767.00 (FTE)

**LOCATION**:South Lakeland - Office Based - Kendal

**PURPOSE AND KEY OBJECTIVES**

**- To support the Financial processes**

**- To provide Administrative support to the Organisation and Senior Leadership Team**

**- To support the Community Fundraising, Volunteers and Ambassadors**

**MAIN TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES- to include but not limited to**

**Finance**
- Banking cheques/cash as required,
- Maintain donation and Gift Aid records and submit Gift Aid return
- Paying invoices
- Data management using excel
- Preparing letters and financial documents as requested by Senior Management in line with legal requirements i.e. insurance/Charity Commission

**Organisational**
- Support the operational need and day to day running of the charity including the following directorates
- Finance, Young Carers, Health and Wellbeing, Volunteer Services and Fundraising.
- Receiving, sorting and distributing incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.
- Maintaining Franking Machine
- Printing/photocopying/scanning as required by Team Leads
- Support of the distribution of the CSSL Newsletter
- Taking minutes of staff meetings, getting them approved, disseminating them out to the relevant people
- Ensure the office environment is fit for purpose, with particular regard to the health and safety of staff and Carers / visitors
- Monitoring and ordering office supplies and maintains a stocklist within budget allocation

**ORGANISATIONAL REQUIREMENTS OF EMPLOYEES**
- Carry out duties in accordance with legislative and regulatory requirements
- Carry out duties in accordance with CSSL policies and procedures, including Health and Safety, Confidentiality, Equal Opportunities and Data Protection
- Contribute to the overall achievement of CSSL mission and objectives
- Ensure the values of CSSL are upheld across the organisation
- Assist CSSL in Community Fundraising initiatives
- Promote CSSL social enterprise initiatives
- Participate in fundraising activities with and on behalf of CSSL
- Participate as part of the requirements of CSSL to meeting their ISO 9001 Quality Award standards
- Provide a supportive working environment to all staff and Volunteers
- Attend regular supervisions, staff and team meetings as requested
- Contribute to research and reports
