**Summary of responsibilities**:

- To provide support with the processes relating to student examination, both internal and external, to the college’s premises.
- All staff are responsible for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults.

**Job requirements**:
**Qualifications**:

- Essential_
- IT or equivalent certificate/experience in spreadsheets, word processing and database systems.
- GCSE grade 4 (C) or above in English and Maths, or level 2 literacy and numeracy qualifications.
- Desirable_
- NVQ 3 in IT or business administration.

**Experience**:

- Essential_
- Inputting, accessing and interpreting information from databases accurately.
- Administrative experience.
- Desirable_
- Experience in customer service and working with the public.
- Administrative experience within an educational environment.
- Examination procedures and working in an exams environment.

**Knowledge/Skills**:

- Essential_
- Attention to detail.
- Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Ability to communicate effectively both internally and externally.
- Ability to work with supervision and refer issues appropriately to the line manager.
- Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines.
- Awareness of the requirements of the Data Protection Act.
