An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Systems Training Officer to join the Digital Systems Team within the Informatics Service, delivering training and digital learning on clinical information systems.

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual who can also demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills as the post has responsibilities for providing advice, support and training to staff. The role is to plan, design and deliver Systems training with a digital focus and to ensure consistency and quality throughout.
- clinical services tailored to meet the differing requirements of the end user and to ensure training is delivered in a timely and cost effective way. An understanding of the patient and service journey through various bespoke process maps and pathways would be advantageous.

To enable staff to gain maximum benefit from information and information technologies and use them to promote effective patient care, the health of the public, and their professional development.

To deliver systems training and digital learning (which may incorporate a number of different systems) and other IT training to staff according to the schedule of deployment projects.

To be involved in the design and development of suitable evaluation and training course materials, user guides and course/lesson plan, elearning, videos.

To contribute to work on Training Needs Analysis.

To contribute to the development & facilitation of training sessions in response to systems developments, department and staff requests.

To contribute to a training support desk service.

To participate in skills and knowledge transfer within the department, contributing to cross cover arrangements, as required and overall training department development.

To ensure confidentiality in line with the Data Protection Act, GDPR and the Trust’s IM&T Policies on all matters relating to patients, staff and Trust business.

To undertake any administration tasks that are required to support the training function.

To contribute to reports relating to training records as part of the overall training delivery process
