**Chief Executive Officer - Home Based
£50k to £60k + Benefits**

Location:
Home Based with a requirement to travel to meet the team and Board when necessary.

Role Summary:
The CEO will provide strong leadership through a period of change and be responsible for the organisation’s administration and financial management.

Working closely with the Board, the CEO will support the delivery and development of BWY’s long term strategy, and ensure it is supported by a budget and business plan that makes it become reality and ensures it complies with the law and regulations.

The CEO will play a key role in motivating and engaging volunteers, staff, members, and prospective members.

The CEO will be accountable to the Board of Trustees and will be managed by the Chair of the Board.

About you:
The ideal person will have previous operational management experience and a commercial head, a proven track record for effective team management and results driven leadership, preferable from working within a small business and or a charitable/3rd sectororganisation with experience of working alongside a board.

You will have a proven ability to effectively manage a growing organisation, understand corporate responsibility, be able to liaise with stakeholders and volunteers and implement systems and processes to support sustainable growth.

Previous experience in the role of CEO is advantageous, although those with experience in a Chief Operational role or Managing Director role, with a desire for a new challenge are also encouraged to apply.
