SBHG owns, manages or has a stake in 5480 properties including general needs, shared ownership, leasehold, and supported housing for our most vulnerable customers.
- 99% of them are in eight boroughs across West London
- 50% are in the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham.
- 82% are general needs rented and shared ownership/leasehold,
- 80% are flats, studios or bedsits located in 1054 blocks/estates
- 45% of properties and blocks were built pre-1930’s and require significant improvements to bring them to EPC C standard by 2030 and NZC by 2050
- 85% of the blocks are below 11m in height, and only 5.5% of homes are in blocks of over 18m.
We have a new, board agreed and funded asset management strategy focused on prioritised investment in homes and the blocks those homes are contained within.
And have a £250m programme of investment over the next 10 years focused on providing safe, secure and affordable to run homes and blocks for our customers, with an aim to improve satisfaction with the condition of homes to 90% by 2033 and significantly move the dial towards Net Zero Carbon by 2050.
To help us deliver on our ambitions and develop our approach, we need experienced, innovative and ambitious Building Surveyors, Resident Liaison officers, Aids and Adaptation Specialists and and co-ordinators
**About the role**
As an Aids and Adaptations specialist, you will be working with our customers to help them maintain their independence and place in their community, as well as collaborating with our partner Local Authorities and the NHS.
