Brewing has taken place on the River Thames for more than 350 years and the Griffin Brewery opened there in 1845. Based in Chiswick, West London our Griffin Brewery is London’s oldest continuous working brewery and became part of Asahi UK through acquisition in 2019. It was the first brewery to win the CAMRA Champion Beer of Britain award and has produced a wave of acclaimed ales. Through timeless classics, such as Fuller’s London Pride and an ever evolving portfolio, Fuller’s Griffin Brewery has long championed real ale and British brewing excellence, offering beers to suit all consumer tastes.

**Tour Guide - Weekends Only**

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Brewery Tour Guide to work on a flexible, casual basis within the Griffin Brewery Visitor Center. This opportunity is for weekend work only.

The Griffin Brewery Visitor Center is a well-established hub for our key visiting customers and is an iconic part of the Griffin Brewery.

**Key Accountabilities and Outputs**
- As the face of our brewery experience, the Brewery Tour Guide will provide rounded knowledge of the Brewery experience not limited to Griffin Brewery Site History, Brewing Process and Fuller’s Beer products knowledge
- Lead tours of the Griffin Brewery and provide tutored tastings to consumers and industry professionals
- Have a friendly, courteous and confident manner in dealing with customers face to face, upselling and promoting the brand wherever possible
- Dealing with customer enquiries, complaints and feedback in person
- Assisting with the organisation and hosting of internal and external events
- Assist with the ordering, organisation and counting of stock
- Assist with promotion of the visitor experience including merchandising and advertising of offers in our Brewery Shop
- Assisting with tour admin not limited to cleaning & maintenance upholding exceptional standards of cleanliness in all areas
- Aid in the cleanliness and operation of the tasting bar and tour desk by performing opening and closing routines to industry standards, line clean, and other operational procedures as needed
- Provide occasional cover for the Brewery Shop
- Assist with orientation and training of new staff members
- Uphold Health and Safety standards and report issues

**Experience, Competence Requirements and Personal Characteristics Required**
- A passion for beer and our brands. We love beer and so do our customers. Previous experience with a beer or beverage offer would be ideal
- Fun, confident and enthusiastic personality who takes real pride in achieving exceptional customer service
- Able to communicate with all levels of internal & external customer; adapting to the specific interests of each party
- Confident in serving customers
