We are currently recruiting for Events Coordinator to join our team in Leicester on a full-time, permanent basis.

This is a hybrid role; the successful applicant will be expected to regularly work from our Leicester office, with some flexibility on remote working.

THE ROLE

The successful applicant will work closely with team members to raise improvements for processes, we are therefore recruiting for an individual who is confident and able to develop strong working relationships.

Please note, you will be required to take part in out of hours activities and where relevant overnight stays will be required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Delivery of events objectives is key to the success of Mattioli Woods, these objectives are supported by robust, event/marketing processes. The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
- supporting the delivery of our varied events program which includes, but is not limited to seminars, exhibitions, dinners, networking, webinars, and hospitality- working closely with the other Event Coordinators you will understand the planning processes for all events and ensure that every event is successful in meeting its objectives as directed by the Events Manager- working with the Events Team to manage the delegate booking process including replies to incoming correspondence for certain events- taking responsibility for onsite event coordination including: travelling to venues, liaising with venue over function requirements, setting up rooms, run registration/welcome desks and pack down, brief speaker(s) on venue specifics and host webinars etc.- ensuring effective follow up and feedback takes place following all event campaigns

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED- 2 +years’ experience in a similar role and / or a proven track record of running successful events whether online or in-person.- a good understanding of event planning- working knowledge of excel for data interrogation, cleansing and quality control- an understanding of the key target markets for Mattioli Woods to ensure that event campaigns remain focused
