**Role Description**

The purpose of the lending support officer role is to ensure the best possible customer experience for all customers from Decision in Principle /Offer stage through to loan drawdown and completion.

You will be working closely with other teams such as the business relationship managers, the legal team and the underwriting team etc.

You will be responsible for a portfolio of lending cases, managing all relevant activity to progress the case efficiently and effectively through to completion.

If you think you can deliver operational excellence in the Commercial Mortgage arena, this is the role for you.

**Personal Attributes & Experience**:

- Education to A level standard or equivalent.
- Commercial Mortgage based background.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Strong administration skills.
- Great attention to detail.
- A good understanding of Conduct and Treating Customers Fairly requirements relevant to Credit Operations.
- Can work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- A generic knowledge of the commercial environment and lending pipeline management.
- A good level of financial and commercial awareness.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Excellent organisational and IT skills.
