The role of the Chair is vital to the smooth running and effectiveness of the Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent Maternity and Neonatal Voices Partnership. Working with the Local Maternity and Neonatal System (LMNS) Project Support Officer for the MNVP, the Chair is a crucial position within the MNVP Forum and membership, which makes and monitors plans for the MNVP and guides the progress of the partnership. The Chair connects, and networks, interested parties and MNVP members, as well as users of maternity and neonatal services with provider staff to enable coproduction of projects. The Chair will work with the provider trusts within the LMNS, University Hospital North Midlands NHS Trust (UHNM) and Queens Hospital Burton (QHB), University Hospitals of Derby and Burton (UHDB).

The role is on a voluntary basis with remuneration in line with national guidance, as a self-employed position. Main Job Responsibilities: Act as an independent Chair responsible for the location of Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent Attend and Chair the MNVP Forum meetings, ensuring stakeholders can, and do, contribute. Work with the LMNS Project Support Officer for MNVP to set agenda ensuring that members can input Attend monthly LMNS Partnership Board meeting and LMNS Quality and Oversight Forum meetings, providing feedback or information if required Ensure that a minimum of 30% of the hours each month are dedicated to engaging with service users and families to collect feedback and listen to experiences, with a specific focus on connecting with families from seldom heard communities, families living in the most deprived local areas, and bereaved families
