**ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT**

We are seeking a versatile professional to assist the Finance Department, Finance Manager, and Managing Directors by handling routine administrative and accounting tasks.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Proficiency with accounting software such as Xero and QuickBooks
- Experience with Dext or Autoentry is beneficial but not essential.
- Minimum AAT level 3 certification.
- Strong bookkeeping knowledge.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy is essential.
- Experience of working in a company with cost centres.
- Effective written communication and comfortable on the phone.
- Able to take instruction and learn quickly.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines.
- Good understanding of accruals and prepayments.

JOB DUTIES:

- Credit Control
- Preparing Sales invoices.
- Completing Bank reconciliations.
- Cover for processing Purchase invoices.
- Cover for processing Business Expenses.
- Making bookings for hotels, travel and meeting rooms.
- Responsible for issuing refunds to customers.
- Preparing prepayment and Accrual journals and maintaining schedules.
- Creating payment runs for approval.
- Assisting Finance manager with various month end tasks.
- Assisting Finance manager with Cashflow forecasting.
- Assisting Finance Manager with balance sheet reconciliations.
