SIG Plc. is a leading supplier of specialist building materials to trade customers across Europe with strong positions in its core markets as a specialist distributor of insulation and interiors products and as a merchant of roofing and exteriors products.

We are currently looking to recruit a Supply Chain Assistant who will ensure sufficient stock in all depots to meet customer demand and order requirements.

**What does the role involve?**
As Supply Chain Assistant you will ensure correct stock levels, operate, and amend order system to raise purchase orders. Continually monitor usage, stock levels and where possible forecast upcoming demand. You will be responsible for updating and maintain system prices lists as well as monitoring delivery schedules, liaising with the goods in team and chasing late deliveries. You will have a close working relationship with suppliers, sales, accounts and warehouse teams.
- High attention to detail
- Strong
- Strong numeracy and analytical skills
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Computer literacy, particularly Excel. Knowledge of SAP B1 would be an advantage
- Strong communication across a wide range group of people from suppliers, sales teams and management.
- Ability to build a rapport both internally and externally
- Experience in construction industry desirable
- Good time management
