Are you an experienced Social Worker passionate about advocating for others? Join us at Lincolnshire County Council in our vision of "Putting Children First". We will give you the support and resources you need to provide an excellent quality of service.
Our Children's Services is rated by Ofsted as Outstanding. This is an incredible achievement and something all of us are extremely proud of as it reflects the quality of social work practice we deliver to the children, young people and families we support across the County.
We are currently looking for experienced qualified Social Workers (Level 2) our Family Assessment and Support Teams in Lincoln, West Lindsey, East Lindsey and South and North Kesteven.
The children and families that we work with face a range of challenges, and if you join one of our FAST teams, your caseload will be extremely varied. Our Social Workers work closely with several agencies and services to help improve the outcomes of children's lives. Our practice model is Signs of Safety and this is underpinned by a commitment to restorative practice, meaning that you will be practicing in a way where the strengths of the family and their network are honoured, where families are supported to develop their own solutions and where plans are child centred with the voice of the child being at the heart.
As a Level 2 Social Worker you will be responsible for assessing social care needs, support planning and reviewing packages of care. You'll use your specialist knowledge and experience to manage a range of more complex cases, leading on these from start to finish meaning children and families have consistency of Social Worker.
We understand that being a Social Worker can be a challenging, often emotional but also a very rewarding career. That's why we'll give you the tools, confidence and knowledge required to take your career to the next level. You will receive monthly formal professional and case supervision; take part in monthly group learning and also participate in monthly team meetings.
Your continued professional development will be as important to us as it is to you, and your learning and development will remain in focus throughout the year, not just during your annual appraisal. Because progress in your career, means progress in our practice. Our offer of complimentary access to the Research in Practice online platform further demonstrates the support you will receive.
We offer a competitive salary **£34,723 - £38,296** and a **15% annual retention bonus** to Level 2 social workers in our FAST teams. We'll also pay for your annual SWE registration.
Take your next step with us today and use your skills where they matter most.
