The business already has one of the most extensive collections of large tonnage injection moulding machines in the UK with continued investments planned.

The Supply Team is looking to fill the role of Transport Coordinator in their Rotherham facility. Reporting into the Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for planning and preparing the transport plan to meet customer orders and Service Level Agreements.

**Position Title: Transport Coordinator**

**Location**:Barbot Hall Industrial Estate, Mangham Road, Rotherham, S61 4RJ

**Hours**: 40 Hours: 8.30am to 4:30pm (with a degree of flexibility) (Monday to Friday)

**Duties will include (but are not limited to)**:

- Plan and prepare transport schedules to meet customer requirements.
- Work to ensure yours and the teams KPI’s are met, providing updates on these and providing action plans where required
- Manage the internal filing of live orders and the efficiency tracker to assess production performance against planned output.
- Work closely with the Production Planner and sales team to ensure that our products are delivered efficiently, on time and in full
- Through the use of bespoke systems, produce pick lists for collections and deliveries.
- Book in collections and deliveries with haulage companies using haulier schedules.
- Raise Purchase Orders for the weekly Transport costs.
- Ensure that transport costs are kept below budgeted costs for the year through efficient and effective transport planning.
- Producing regular and ad hoc reports and presenting these in the relevant format to various stakeholders
- Directing the Stock Loaders on shift
- Attending and contributing to the site’s daily Operations meetings
- Provide cover for other team members during holidays.
- Other ad hoc duties as they arise.

**Required Skills**:

- Previous experience working in a similar role is essential, with experience as a Transport Coordinator
- Strong communication, written and oral skills, with the ability to work well as part of a multi-disciplinary team
- A good level of IT skills with the ability to utilise the Microsoft suite of packages and in house systems
- Advanced Excel skills
- Ability to prioritise workload with a high level of organisation
- Exceptional attention to detail
