Alfred H Knight are recruiting for a HR Advisor to join the HR Team based in Prescot. The HR & L&D team supports Alfred H Knight and its people to achieve our business aims by having the right people in the right place at the right time with the right skills.We are responsible for the development of our people policies and processes, as well as supporting our managers and teams to bring them to life in practice. Our remit covers the full 'employee lifecycle’, including recruitment, induction and training, howto inspire strong performance and keep our people engaged, and how we develop, recognise and reward our people.

As HR Advisor you will provide a key interface between HR and the designated client group to embed a strategic approach to Human Resources. Working in partnership with managers and employees to provide professional, customer focused HR advice and solutionsthat support and build organisational and people capabilities. The role will have strong talent development focus, helping to design and build on work already done to ensure AHK has a global talent and leadership development approach that is clearly focusedon bringing the right talent through at the right time.

**Required Work Experience**
- Demonstrable track record of progression within a relevant HR function in a complex/matrix structure.
- Demonstrable experience of working in a complex HR function at 'Generalist/HR Advisor’ level or equivalent
- Demonstrable experience of managing projects and delivering successful outcomes
- Experience in developing and delivering graduate development and leadership programmes
- Demonstrable experience of developing innovative approaches to complex problems.

**Required Qualifications**
- Education: BA / BSc Degree in HR preferred but not essential
- CIPD Level 5 or 7 Qualification desirable

**Required Languages**
- Fluency in Spanish (advantageous)

**Travel**
- Occasional UK and overseas travel
