**_Job Purpose_**

To provide comprehensive administrative and financial support to operational services, logistics, building management, maintenance and repair. To supervise and manage the administrative and logistics buildings’ teams across all Inspire sites.

**_Key Responsibilities_**

1. To lead and manage the team responsible for the administration of Inspire’s approach to buildings and facilities management, monitoring budgets and ensuring value for money. Ensure training is provided to the team to empower the role to be done competently.

2. To lead and manage the Senior Buildings Officer and oversee the logistics functions across Inspire, including the van service to schools and Buildings Officers at various sites.

3. To ensure Inspire’s buildings meet necessary internal, contractual and statutory standards.

4. To work effectively with Inspire’s contractors, NCC’s property team and ARC and monitor progress of their works within Inspire’s buildings.

5. To administer logistics effectively and efficiently throughout Inspire, including the internal van delivery service, and act as the first point of contact for contracted services such as cleaning.

6. To monitor and report on Inspire’s compliance with statutory and legislative standards, including ensuring Inspire complies with all appropriate licensing.

7. To interrogate and interpret a range of business-related information providing advice to managers enabling efficient and effective service delivery.

8. To be an authoritative source of advice and guidance, both for customers and colleagues on buildings maintenance and processes and energy efficiency.

9. To create, manage and manipulate information by producing reports using the buildings reporting system and spreadsheets.

10. To use specialist systems and processes to meet the needs of the buildings team and act as a point of contact for site managers using the systems.

11. To undertake a full range of financial management processes, including processing orders, resolving issues with contractors and suppliers and overall budget monitoring.

The post holder will work in accordance with all Inspire policies and procedures, Inspire Brand guidelines,
contractual requirements, and professional best practice

The post holder will perform any duties or tasks assigned by management required to meet service needs as appropriate to the role.

The post holder will assume the role of Appointed Person and/or First Aider as required

**_Education and Knowledge Required for the role_**

1. Literacy & numeracy skills alongside IT systems skills and working with data and records

2. Knowledge of working to statutory and legislative standards

**_Skills and Experience_**

1. Experience of monitoring a budget

2. Experience of dealing with partners, contractors and managing contractual relationships

**_ Desirable_**

1. Experience of working in a buildings management setting

2. Experience of managing others, or the willingness to learn management skills

**_Role Dimensions_**

1. Supporting all existing buildings and new projects across Inspire property and premises**_, _**reporting to the Programmes, Buildings and Logistics Manager

2. Act as the Nominated Property Officer (NPO) for Inspire HQ
