Planning & Purchasing Administrator

ConservatoryLand is a leading manufacturer of conservatories, located in the heart of the East Midlands. We have recently made a substantial investment in a new ‘Warehouse Management System’ (WMS), Sage 200 Professional (MRP). The following duties will be carried out using this software, in addition to our current use of First-Degree Windows Designer software, PST software, and Google Packages. You will report directly to the Resource Manager and play a pivotal role within a small dynamic team.
**Responsibilities**
- Daily operation of the 'Manufacturing Requirements Planning' (MRP) system
- Creating necessary work orders, ensuring that documentation is prepared in an accurate and prompt manner
- Assigning ‘Bill of Materials’ (BOM) to specific jobs
- Cross departmental communication and collaboration, including manufacturing, technical, sales, and customer services

- Communication with customers for the scheduling of deliveries
- Planning of delivery schedules in accordance with customer demands, installer availability, and production schedules, and coordination with the logistics team to ensure the efficient delivery of goods
- Coordinating with suppliers to synchronise production schedules with demand forecasts, lead time maintenance and inventory targets to meet delivery expectations

- Assisting in the order-to-invoice process for all purchase orders
- Monitoring inventory levels and scheduling orders to ensure timely replenishment of raw materials
- Maintenance of product lead times
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their purchasing needs and requirements
- Maintaining accurate records of stock line coding, purchases, pricing, and supplier information
- Staying updated on industry trends and market conditions to make informed purchasing decisions
- Responsibility of approximately 1500+ product lines across 50+ suppliers
- Monitoring proof of delivery, invoices, and related queries, with the management of the invoices and orders inbox

Comprehensive training will be provided in all aspects of the role.
Working hours: 09:00am - 5:00pm
**Salary**: £28,500.00-£30,000.00 per year
