The Air Commercial Delivery hub focusses on the creation and execution of commercial strategies that respond to a wide variety of Air Command requirements. We work collaboratively across three core delivery teams delivering all aspects of the commercial lifecycle, from pre-sourcing, market management, procurement, negotiation and contract management. As part of the Delivery hub you will have the opportunity to work fluidly across our core delivery teams and gain experience on different aspects of commercial delivery.

This position is advertised at 37 hours per week

**Job description**:
The primary focus of this role is to work within our Rapid Capability and Projects Delivery Team. Our purpose is to deliver commercial solutions for projects that are focussed on the future Royal Air Force, this through the delivery of major service transformation projects and future capability research and development. We are a dynamic, Whole Force, integrated team who also embed within the RCO or key projects to facilitate collaborative working not only between ourselves but also the teams in which we are supporting.

As a Senior Commercial Officer within the Delivery Hub you will be responsible for;
- Managing a commercial portfolio, overseeing all commercial activity in line with Air, MOD and Government Commercial Policy and Assurance Frameworks.
- Providing commercial advice and support to project teams and other key stakeholders to support successful project outcomes.
- Work with Commercial Managers to understand and advise on commercial risk relevant to Air Command requirements and objectives and when required take appropriate risk decisions to secure successful outcomes.

Provide Commercial input to business cases, drafting the commercial strategy and with support from Commercial Managers and Commercial Leads.

This role will require a DV (Developed Vetting Clearance) to be obtained within the first 12 month of being in post.

Technical Skills
- Demonstrable commercial experience in pre-sourcing, sourcing and or contract management.
- CIPS level 4 or commitment to work towards in first two years.
