**R&D Assistant - FTC 12months**

This role will focus on providing support to the R&D team for the delivery of key objectives for Reckitt’s New Growth Platforms organisation. NGP is a part of the Hygiene Business Unit created within Reckitt with the objective to provide commercial products to businesses as part of the Global Business Solutions (GBS) business and as part of GEM fast track Reckitt’s fight to provide access to highest quality hygiene, wellness and nourishment, by driving the access of our global portfolio of brands and products to new geographies.

**The R&D Assistant will**
- Support of the R&D lead on project teams, working with them and as part of cross-functional team to deliver key NGP initiatives
- Work in close partnership with the wider GEM team, conduct reviews of aspects of proposed go-to-market opportunities via the Activation Record process
- Work in partnership with other functions, e.g. Regulatory, support the compilation of technical data as part of required regulatory dossiers.
- Complete testing to support new claims, benchmarking, etc either within the Hull laboratories or through internal or external partnerships

- Educated to honours degree level in a scientific field or equivalent experience
- Good attention to detail, with solid written and oral communication skills
- Ability to learn on the go
- Able to manage multiple activities simultaneously whilst maintaining good quality of work and achieve deadlines
- Able to build strong networks and stakeholder management skills
