Finance Trainer

Rialtas, part of Quicksilva and the global Harris Computer family, is looking for a Finance Trainer/ Consultant for its market-leading accounting software business on a permanent basis.

The position is primarily office based, with some potential to work remotely in the longer term.

This is an important role within the business, and it provides an exciting opportunity to working alongside a dedicated and inclusive team.

**Your objectives in performing this position will be (but not limited to)**:

- To support customers following installation of our financial software including setting up chart of accounts, the transferral of client data from their systems into Rialtas software and subsequent training in the software (can be at client site).
- To provide refresher training in the use of the financial software (can be at client sites.
- To prepare Year End accounts for clients online (can be at client site).
- To provide data entry (can be at client site).
- To guide on general accountancy within the scope of our solutions.
- To assist in the updating of all training workbooks and software manuals in line with new releases.
- To attend conferences to promote the Rialtas Software and Services as required.
- To learn the administration software to ensure clear understanding for links between the accounts and the administrative software.
- To demo our financial software to new and existing customers.
- To carry out any other related tasks as requested by the Operations Manager.

**What we are looking for**:

- Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills - confident, patient, friendly and a logical manner is important.
- Numerate - experienced in working in finance reporting.
- Finance Software Skills e.g., Sage Accounts, Zero etc.
- Experience of Inputting, managing and delivery of Company accounts.
- Experience of working in local government or in a software business - desirable

Note: We will train the new hire on our bespoke software solution and how to provide the training to clients, however, accountancy experience is a pre-requisite to be able to perform this position effectively.
