Wilsons is looking for an enthusiastic and creative Marketing Assistant to join our growing Marketing Department.

In this role, you will work closely with our Marketing Manager and the rest of the Marketing Team. In your role, you will be tasked with helping to grow traffic across our websites and social media channels, help to maintain our CRM system, assist with updating content both for our Wilsons and Loads of Vans website in addition to help with the running of showroom events and product placements. Alongside this, you will also assist with setting up Google PPC adverts and sponsored social media campaigns. You will also be responsible for conducting analysis into our competitors as well as assessing market trends.

Ad hoc duties will include event planning, CSI, assisting with running the social media channels and creating content for these, and other administrative tasks as necessary.

**Competitive Salary**

**Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Works under the direction of the Marketing Manager to help meet Wilsons marketing goals and objectives, building strong working relationships with colleagues to help them too
- Research market trends, demographics, pricing strategies, and other relevant information that helps Marketing Manager to develop marketing plans.
- Content/copywriting.
- Assist in the running of all social media pages, creating engaging content for these.
- Analysing the success of the campaigns we run and suggesting ideas for future ones.
- Working with the Marketing Team and External Companies to run paid social media for Wilsons and Loads of Vans.
- Creating and running paid search alongside the Marketing Manager.
- Creating promotional materials, including brochures, blogs, marketing copy, etc.
- Assist the with running the websites for both Wilsons and Loads of Vans.
- Assist SEO Copywriter with updating posts regularly with relevant keywords for search engine optimisation.
- Entering marketing data into spreadsheets and helps to create data and financial reports for Directors and management.
- Helps to plan promotional events hosted by the company's marketing department.

**Must have**:

- 2-Years marketing experience.
- Must have a Marketing Degree.
- Google PPC Experience (1-Year Required).
- CRM updating/maintenance (1-Year Required).
- Coherent communicator both written and verbal.
- Enthusiastic approach to work.
- Experience in prioritising and meeting tight deadlines.
- Good level of time management.
- Proven experience working within a customer orientated, fast paced marketing environment.
- Advanced Excel and self-sufficient Word/ICT skills.

**Would be nice to have**:

- Proven knowledge of effectively using social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter for marketing and communicating effectively with others.
- A creative writing style to produce engaging content for website(s) and social media.
- Have some knowledge and experience in SEO.
- Strong written skills.
- Good understanding of office management and marketing principles.
- A strong interest in the automotive industry.
