**Responsibilities**:

- Visually and physically check all products to conform to product quality specifications and document where appropriate
- During inspection, detect any product defects which occur on a consecutive basis to be reported to Line Supervision.
- Work across all production departments as required
- Operate processing equipment where necessary
- Collect and supply product samples for quality assurance where necessary
- Carry out any cleaning procedures and maintain housekeeping standards
- Maintain GMP standards in all aspects of the role
- Support the development of “Lean Manufacturing” within the department. Make suggestions for continuous improvement and participate in implementing agreed changes
- To ensure compliance with all Company rules and regulations, and also maintain a high standard of housekeeping
- Adhere to and conforms with the required technical and quality specifications in line with the Company’s ISO 9000 quality systems
- Support the development of 5S activities to maintain the highest levels of hygiene and housekeeping.
- Follow with Company Policy on Health and Safety. Report all near miss or hazardous situations to your line manager as they occur, or raise if necessary.
- Take an interest in personal development and follow with the learning and competency frameworks relevant to the role

**Minimum Requirements/Qualifications**:

- Ability to learn, understand and carry out instructions
- Be able to use initiative to propose ideas for change
- Good numeric and literacy skills
- Previous experience in similar environment
