Manufacturing Operative

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Manufacturing Operative to join our team in a busy factory environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate a variety of machinery and power tools to produce high-quality products
* Work to technical specifications, quality standards, and established procedures
* Collect and prepare materials and equipment for production
* Select, fabricate, or modify components to measurements and specifications
* Align and assemble parts to build complex units
* Report any issues, malfunctions, or defective parts
Requirements:
* Previous manufacturing or engineering experience
* Ability to read and understand technical drawings
* Good hand-to-eye coordination and manual dexterity
* Good communication skills and ability to work well on own, to instructions, and deadlines, as well as part of a team
Working Hours: 8am - 4.45pm, Monday - Thursday, 8am - 2.45pm, Friday
Duration: Permanent
Salary: £11.44 per hour starting salary, to be reviewed after training/probation period
