We have an opportunity for an ambitious individual to join a national provider of Open Space Management to lead our business development activities throughout our Northern region. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced manager with the desireto further their career, whilst being influential in the continued growth of an ambitious and successful business.

The BDM will protect our brand & reputation and enhance our offering through effective leadership, communication, networking and promotion, bringing fresh ideas and enthusiasm to the team and the market.
The Person
- A proven track record in management. Experience working within the housebuilding sector or green services environment is preferable. What is important is the willingness and ability to do what is right
- A proven track record for identifying and securing long-term revenue opportunities, from lead generation and networking, to tendering and estimating through to bid management
- Excellent team building and customer relations management skills
Key Skills Required
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of CRM systems is an advantage
- Strong leadership qualities
- Ability to multitask & work efficiently under pressure
- Highly motivated, reliable, with the commitment to complete activities
- Have the ability to prioritise your workload and that of your team
Main Responsibilities
- Achieving business goals & revenue targets
- Overseeing daily operations, managing workloads & performance objectives
- Maintaining and developing relationships with current clients
- Ensuring all clients requirements & expectations are met
- Preparing & presenting to the board, monthly reports on operations, targets & revenue
- Attending seminars, conferences and events where appropriate to build relationships with industry partners
- Managing & Training a Business Development team
