Residential Domestic Care Assistant Job Description:
This role would best suit someone who is as happy gardening, decorating and cleaning as they would be supporting residents to meet their needs both within the residential setting and out in the commuity. Someone motivated to encourage others to be active and productive. Someone that would feel proud to keep the home tidy and safe at all times.

Duties include:

- All domestic work, emptying and cleaning bins, keeping both outside and inside clean and safe.
- Some decorating - Gardening - Car washing Duties
- Provide support and assistance to residents in a residential facility.
- Assist with daily living activities, including meal preparation, personal hygiene, and medication management
- Maintain a safe and clean living environment for residents
- Support the residents to care for their pets (dogs/chickens/gerbils and fish)
- Implement and follow individual care plans for each resident
- Monitor and report any changes in residents' physical or mental health to the appropriate staff members
- Assist with recreational activities and socialization opportunities for residents
- Document and maintain accurate records of residents' activities, progress, and any incidents that occur
- Adhere to policies and procedures.
- Take part in staff meetings and both in and out of house training.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience working in a residential or caregiving setting is preferred but not essential
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Basic computer skills for documentation purposes
- Confident driver with clean licence.

**Job Type**: Permanent, Full-time

Pay: £11.50-£13.00 per hour depending on skills.

Expected hours: 37 - 40 per week.

Schedule: Mostly weekdays but some evenings and weekend work.
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Weekend availability

Licence/Certification:

- Clean Driving Licence

Work Location: In person

Pay: £11.50-£13.00 per hour

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Residential care: 1 year (preferred)
