(you need to able to work at our base in Stonehouse and out in the community in Gloucestershir)

Type of Employment: Full-time (37.5 hours per week)

Background:
Sunflowers Suicide Support, a rapidly growing charity, was founded in memory of Pete Morris, who tragically lost his life to suicide in 2016. Run by Pete's family, the charity provides essential support to individuals affected by suicide. Sunflowers is committed to aligning its efforts with local and national suicide prevention strategies and best practices. In addition to its support services, Sunflowers actively works on suicide prevention through intervention and awareness training, as well as various campaigns throughout the year.

Purpose:
The Engagement Officer is an enthusiastic and dynamic member of the Sunflowers team who will collaborate closely with the CEO and Fundraising Trustee to significantly enhance the charity's fundraising and engagement efforts. This position has been established as part of our sustainability plan to sustain our rapid growth.

Main Responsibilities:
1. Relationship Building: Develop and manage relationships with both existing and potential supporters, actively seeking out new opportunities.

2. Corporate Relationship Management: Maintain and manage relationships with corporate partners and sponsors.

3. Networking and Awareness: Engage with local and national networks to enhance the visibility of Sunflowers.

4. Donor Engagement: Interact with and express gratitude to donors, ensuring their continued support.

5. Presentations and Talks: Deliver presentations and talks about the charity to various audiences, promoting the charity and the work we do.

6. Impact-driven Fundraising: Utilise data and evidence of our impact to expand our supporter base, increase income, and meet growing demands.

7. Social Media Impact: Enhance the charity's social media presence and impact through strategic online engagement.

8. Event Participation: Support internal fundraising events and build strong relationships with our dedicated volunteers.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
