The Head of Strategy plays a crucial role in shaping and executing our strategic initiatives. The role closely works with the Executive Leadership team and cross-functional stakeholders to identify growth opportunities, drive innovation and ensure the middle and long-term success of our organisation.

**How will you make an impact**:

- ** Develop and Oversee the Corporate Strategy**- work closely with the CEO and with the ELT to ensure that we have a well defined and ambitious corporate strategy outlining our path to growth. Collaborate with cross-functional teams globally to define and prioritise strategic initiatives. Present strategic recommendations and updates to the senior Leadership Team and Board
- ** Understand the market trends**: Conduct market research and analysis to identify industry trends, competitive landscapes and customer needs. Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities and emerging technologies that could impact the company’s strategy
- ** Lead the strategic planning and mapping of growth opportunities **- ensure that we have a solid strategic planning resulting in the mapping of different growth opportunities
- **People leadership** - inspirational, engaging, energetic, can coach and develop teams. Creates followship and breeds great talent
- ** External facing** - ability to create and maintain an external presence with industry counterparts, strategic customers, government bodies

**Who we’re looking for**:

- Several years of Strong consultancy experience from top-tier consultancy firm
- Several years of Scale-up experience preferably in the FinTech space
- Proven people leadership experience
- A true builder mindset - ability to build from scratch and roll-up your sleeves
- Compelling Communication skills - ability to translate complex thoughts and ideas into a digestible and easily communicated strategy as well ability to communicate with strategic senior partners
- Strategic and long-term thinking - able to create a clear and long-term vision and corporate strategy that will be translatable in clear growth opportunities
- Excellent analytical skills
- Proactive mindset, ability to work in a fast-paced environment and a strong drive for results
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred
