**Volunteer Events Assistant (Turnchapel/Plymouth)**

**Title **Volunteer Events Assistant (voluntary, part time)

**Reporting to **Events Team

**Location **St Luke’s Hospice, Turnchapel, Plymouth and various locations

This role will involve assisting with office duties, including contacting organisations and individuals, research, general office admin; assisting at fundraising events by collecting money, handing out literature, looking after guests, marshalling/hosting.

**Your role**
- General office administration.
- Laminating posters and signage.
- Updating spreadsheets and databases.
- Researching potential support.
- Helping with direct mail programmes.
- Making up fundraising packs.
- Collecting fundraising sponsorship money.
- Handing out literature.
- Educating people on St Luke’s care.
- Looking after guests.
- Acting as marshals and/or hosts.
