About the role

The role of the Finance Business Partner is to provide high quality financial support to Executive Directors, Assistant Directors and Service Managers. This is a high-profile role and requires good management skills to ensure finance services provided are professional and customer focused.

What will you be doing?
We have ten Finance Business Partner roles:
**Finance Business Partner - Strategy Finance**

These roles will be responsible for supporting the a variety of services across the council, whilst also supporting the Senior and Strategic Finance Business Partner in the effective management and control of the annual revenue budget, the Council’s Medium-Term Financial Strategy, the capital programme, and the overall control environment with focus on strong financial governance.

**Finance Business Partner - Accountancy**

These roles will be responsible for supporting the Chief Accountant and the Strategic Finance Business Partner with roles such as Treasury, Tax, Capital, closure of accounts and the overall control environment with focus on strong financial governance..

About you
You will be CCAB part qualified /AAT qualified /equivalent or have significant financial experience.
