We are a small team responsible for delivering outstanding care to an energetic fun-loving female in her 20’s who lives with a chromosome disorder. We are now looking for another female to join the team and deliver a great experience on a one to one basis.

The individual enjoys a wide variety of activities and spends some of her time at a local day center, and whilst she is gentle in nature, she really does enjoy social interaction and lots of attention We hope that in the future she will be able to start regular sessions at a local hydrotherapy pool which help with her mobility and strength as she also as scoliosis and requires some help moving around.

You will be supporting the individual with her everyday personal care, medication and feeding routines along with social activities that she enjoys. She has a great sense of humor and a dislike for mobile phones as they take the attention away from her. It is important that you appreciate her need for variety, we will expect you to get to know her well enough to do things that will keep her engaged and happy

Naturally, it will take time for you to get to know her and build a trusting relationship. Whilst on a day to day basis her medical situation is well managed, we would expect you to be looking for signs for anything out of the ordinary and act accordingly, for instance she can be susceptible to chest infections and uses an inhaler daily.

You will have a great working environment where your job is purely to care for this individual and her needs. Working with an easygoing family and two other sisters, there is a strong family bond and support network.

Ideally, we are looking for someone from a care background, however we would consider providing the right training for whoever joins the team, so this is a great opportunity if you want to try something different.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: £10.50-£12.50 per hour
