Hubs Mobility Advice Service Lead

**MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB**:
To lead and co-ordinate the activities of the Transport Hub at East Anglian DriveAbility. The Hubs Mobility Advice Service offers advice and support to people with a disability who are unable to drive and looking to access the community to remain independent for longer, with an emphasis on reducing social isolation and loneliness.

The Transport Hub lead will but is not limited to:

- Liaise with clients regarding their transportation needs, research local transport services and help with bespoke travel plans.
- Liaise with transport providers supportive organisations and Charites and Local Authority transport schemes.
- Liaise with other Hubs Mobility Advise Services throughout Driving Mobility.
- Continue developing the on going database of services within East Anglia.
- Provide statistics and outcome data to the management team, Driving Mobility and the Department for Transport.
- Carry out marketing and attend events and exhibitions to promote the Hubs Mobility Advice Service and East Anglian DriveAbility.
- Carry out Mobility Scooter fitness to drive assessment with the support of and Occupational Therapist including writing a comprehensive report.

**Essential**
- Excellent IT skills including Microsoft office, internet and database systems
- Excellent written skills
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to be self directed
- A good understanding of working with people from all backgrounds
- A desire to develop within the role
- Full driving licence

**Desired but not essential**
- Disability awareness
- an understanding of GDPR
- Knowledge of community and public transport
