Pirtek Ipswich are looking for a Mobile Hydraulic Field Service Technician to join their team based in Ipswich . You will be working on a full-time, permanent basis.
The Mobile Hydraulic Field Service Technician role:
We are expanding our team and are seeking an outgoing and competitive Mobile Hydraulic Field Service Technician, servicing on site hydraulic hoses replacements. We would prefer experience in a mechanical plant or engineering background and will offer training for the right person. Our technicians must have a flexible approach to working hours - once you have undertaken training and progressed to the role of Field Service Technician you will be required to participate in a standby rota to provide 24-hour operational service throughout your local area i.e., one day per week and one weekend every 4th week. You will need to hold a full driving licence.
The central role will be to provide a professional On-site Hose Replacement Service to Pirtek customers. This role will include being part of a 24 hr ‘on-call' rota with other franchise technicians.
Candidates will be expected to actively promote Pirtek products and services to existing and prospective customers throughout their given territory.
The day to day management of a Mobile Sales and Service Unit (MSU) to include:
Performing routine maintenance checks in accordance with the MSSU defect checklist
To attend Pirtek training courses as requested by management
Good personal presentation and adherence to Pirtek policies and procedures
Skills and attributes, we're looking for in our Mobile Hydraulic Field Service Technician :
Basic mechanical knowledge
Good communication skills both orally and in writing
Successful completion of the Pirtek Induction and Training programmes (based in Birmingham) and subsequent on-site assessments as requested by management
