Responsible to the Manager and Senior Administrative team, the role of the Weekend Receptionist is to manage the front desk and perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks.

Ultimately, the Receptionist(s) responsibility is to ensure the front desk is manned at all times to welcome residents and visitors positively, and execute all administrative tasks to the highest standard.

**Principle Responsibilities**

1) Receiving visitors at the front desk by greeting, welcoming, directing and announcing them to the appropriate departments.
2) Answering, screening and forwarding incoming telephone calls, assisting and forwarding callers to the appropriate departments.
4) Ensuring that enquiries, post, deliveries, newspapers and messages are promptly dealt with or passed to the correct department.
5) Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, maintaining all necessary materials (e.g. brochures, sign in sheets etc.)
6) To be aware of and observe all rules relating to Health and Safety within the home, maintaining security procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (e.g. Fire regulations, visitor sign in, checking professionals ID badge etc.)
7) Inform Administrative team if stocks need replenished (e.g. stationary)
8) Update calendars using Microsoft Office packages as required.
9) Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing and faxing documents.
10) Treat as confidential any information given or overheard within the home, ensuring that this information is passed on to relevant persons only.
11) To participate in relevant training, as and when required by the company or legislative changes.
12) Liaising with the Manager, Administration team and other senior staff to complete any extra administrative tasks required.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 7.5-15 per week

**Salary**: £10.42 per hour
