he Solution Group are recruiting on behalf of our Dunstable based client. Are you a detail-oriented, proactive professional with a knack for managing the intricate aspects of procurement and administrative tasks? We're on the lookout for a talented individual to join our client for Maternity cover on a crucial buyer role.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Create and manage job cards for urgent material requirements.
- Initiate new job pricing requests, comparing costs, and evaluating lead times.
- Verify drawings and send them to suppliers for finishing cost evaluations.
- Create quotes for accuracy in materials, grades, items, and quantities.
- Place material orders through JMS based on on-site dates.
- Handle pro-forma, make payments, and arrange BACS payments as needed.
- Monitor and chase outstanding or late materials to ensure timely deliveries.
- Confirm goods received and manage certificates and manufacturer's literature.
- Address invoice queries and discrepancies, including chasing credit notes and investigating disputed invoices.
- Liaise with suppliers regarding incorrect parts and manage stock-taking of office and cleaning equipment.
- Obtain authorizations for overhead orders and maintain a record of pending approvals.
- Arrange couriers and transportation as required.
- Utilize software tools (Microsoft Teams, Outlook, JMS, Sage Accounts, Excel, Word, Bluebeam, Asite) to upload and manage drawings, transmittals, and documents.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Previous experience in Buyer position or a related field.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Teams, Outlook, JMS, Sage Accounts, Excel, Word, Bluebeam, and Asite.
- Exceptional organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
