Quality Assurance Assistant

Role overview

As the Quality Assurance Assistant, your role will involve supporting the Nursing and Quality Director in developing, maintaining and implementing the Quality Management System (QMS) for all clinics under the Evewell Group. Your primary responsibility will be to support the quality and effectiveness of the services provided to patients while ensuring compliance with the guidelines set forth by the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority (HFEA), including their Code of Practice, CQC guidance, and all relevant clinical and laboratory directives.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Assisting the Nursing and Quality Director in establishing and managing quality, risk, and governance strategies for all Evewell Group clinics.
- Support all aspects of the quality management system.
- Support the Nursing and Quality Director in maintaining our HFEA license, and CQC registration and ensure compliance with all necessary standards and regulations.
- Assist in the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines.
- Work constructively with staff to develop and improve working practices and systems in compliance with regulatory guidelines. Participate in the management of external audits (e.g. regulatory inspections).
- Assist the Nursing and Quality Director in developing, monitoring, and evaluating quality policy, objectives, and indicators.
- Assist the Nursing and Quality Director in the preparation of both internal and external reports.
- Support the Nursing and Quality Director in undertaking internal and external auditing, patient satisfaction, and investigations.
- Assisting the Nursing and Quality Director in managing incidents, non-conformities, and corrective/preventative actions.
- Assist in setting up and maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS) and provide continued support for its management.
- Provide assistance in training, communication, monitoring, and motivating all staff to ensure the effective implementation of the QMS.
- Assist the Nursing and Quality Director in developing, reviewing, measuring, monitoring, and analysing performance measures and indicators. Implement evidence-based changes to improve indicator alignment with quality standards.
- Comply with all regulations, as well as company policies and procedures, regarding confidentiality.

Experience

Having prior experience in a healthcare environment is preferred.

Location
- The Evewell (West London) Hammersmith, and when requested, The Evewell (Harley Street)
- This is a role that must be undertaken on-site. There will be limited opportunities for remote/home working.

Job type
- Permanent

Hours
- 40 hours per week, 9.00 am to 5.00 pm, Monday to Friday.

Salary
- £30,000-£32,000 per annum.
- Salary is dependent on experience.
