**RESPONSIBLE TO**: Church Treasurer
JOB SUMMARY
To provide efficient and effective administrative support to the Treasurer of Cheltenham URC.
**Principal responsibilities and duties**:
1) To provide administrative support to the Church Treasurer of Cheltenham URC.
2) To record financial transactions on the church’s computerised accounting system for both Income and Expenditure working under the supervision of the Church Treasurer.
3) To organise the payment of bills for the church by setting up the payments on the online banking system.
4) To maintain a secure system for collecting, filing and storing invoices and other important documents.
5) To liaise with the booking officers for the St Andrew’s and Warden Hill buildings regarding bookings income.
6) To assist when necessary the Gift Aid Secretary with the preparation of quarterly Gift Aid returns to HMRC.
7) To monitor utility and other bills relating to the church premises ensuring that meters are read and bills are accurate.
8) To order stationery and other office items as required and to maintain adequate stocks of these items.
9) To undertake other administrative duties as requested and agreed with line management.
