Here at Serco, we are seeking a Legal Executive Assistant to provide organisational and administrative leadership and support to the UK&E General Counsel and wider UK&E Legal, Commercial Contracts and ERM team. You will assist with the effective management of Legal, Commercial Contracts & ERM matters and projects and related activities and correspondence. This role will be responsible for supporting effective matter and project management, and the development and accuracy of reporting, and budget and billing information.

**As part of this you’ll**:
Record and process legal correspondence, purchase orders and invoices and ensure appropriate action in a timely manner including proactive and up-to-date monitoring and management of Legal Tracker
Arrange team meetings including diary co-ordination, room bookings, travel arrangements (in line with relevant policies) as well as production of itineraries and papers as appropriate
Organise and take minutes for team meetings including recording and tracking actions to completion
Support generation of quality management information and reporting of Legal, Commercial Contracts & ERM matters and projects for the UK&E General Counsel, UK&E ELT, Serco Group Excom and Serco Group plc board and its committees, as appropriate
Process expenses, invoices, and purchase orders on behalf of the UK&E General Counsel, Chief Legal Counsel, Head of ERM and Head of Commercial Contracts
Management and co-ordination of other administrative tasks relating to the UK&E Legal function, as directed by the UK&E General Counsel

**What you’ll need to do the role**:
Excellent communication skills - builds strong relationships within the team and beyond
Highly detailed, conscientious and delivery focused
Able to recognise and deal with highly sensitive information and maintain its confidentiality
Strong organisational and time management skills and a positive approach to problem solving with the capacity to work independently to discharge tasks with initiative, responsibility, and discretion
Demonstrates a flexible approach to work, is self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced dynamic environment
Persuasive, concise, clear verbal and written communicator
Inclusive, approachable and enabling nature
Focused on continuous improvement to identify more efficient methods of working rather than settling for status quo
Strong in MS Office and computer skills, including using digital workflows
Proficient in using SAP preferred but not essential
Demonstrates strong personal integrity and aligned personal values
Knowledge of Legal, Risk & Assurance processes an advantage
Some limited travel may be required in the role.
