**Role Context**

Utilising a broad range of creative, organisational and communication skills, you’ll be a driving force in education-focused projects and campaigns at D&A.

In supporting our Inclusive Campus offering, you’ll be working to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our service and associated projects.

You’ll also be responsible for supporting lead members of the team in sector-related activity to ensure clear and consistent communication is apparent across the team’s streams of work, inclusive of projects and events.

You will be organised and detail-orientated with the confidence to share your ideas co-creatively and work collaboratively across the organisation.

This role has meaning and purpose. We need someone with a passion for developing lasting and positive social change for all.

**What you’ll be doing**

**Development**
- Identify gaps in our Inclusive Campus provision and explore new opportunities to keep D&A sector-leading in championing inclusive education.
- Attend meetings with new clients, communicating meeting notes and follow-up actions in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner.
- Liaise with members of the Education Team to co-create initial service proposals.
- Review and implement changes in practice using an evidence-based approach.

**Planning**
- Create and maintain clear and accurate project plans, schedules and logs.
- Work closely with D&A team members to critique and provide feedback during the creation and implementation of campaigns and events that further D&A’s goals and objectives towards a more inclusive society.
- In coordination with the Communications Team, provide copywriting, admin and conference support for education campaigns and events, achieving engagement with the disabled people community, sector stakeholders, and public bodies.

**Reporting**
- Support the D&A Training and Innovations team in the collation of client feedback, outcomes and testimonials.
- Support in the writing of progress reports and case studies.

**Client & Partnership Management**
- Build strong relationships with clients and partners, nurturing trust through the impactful communication of D&A’s ethos and values.
- Assist in identifying new project opportunities and work with the client/partner and Senior Project Lead to shape and secure them.

**Essential Criteria**
- Strong organisational skills with a detail-focus approach.
- Good interpersonal skills, capacity to build rapport, give feedback and undertake team development discussions.
- Understanding of the social model of disability.
- Understanding of the wider education inclusion and diversity policy sphere.
- Experience in managing administrative and operational elements of projects.
- Experience in customer service or client relationship management.

**Desirable Criteria**
- Good problem-solving skills with the ability to identify challenges, determine effective solutions and prioritise strategically.
- Good written and design skills, including experience in editing or captioning rich-media accessibly.
- Understanding of the legislative environment such as the Equality Act 2010.
- Understanding of the disabled student journey and staff experience in higher and further education.
- Experience in building engagement for campaigns and events.
- Experience working in the higher education sector.
- Experience with a wide range of productivity and collaboration software (Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Asana, Trello).
- Experience in drafting, proofreading, or critiquing proposals, policy documents, or communications copy.
