**We are thrilled to announce an amazing opportunity here at Mayborn Group, the proud parent company of the highly acclaimed baby brand, Tommee Tippee. We are currently seeking a skilled Head of IT (Operations) to join our dynamic team on a permanent basis**

**This position is based at our Global HQ in Newcastle Upon Tyne, and will be required on site from Tuesdays to Thursdays, as part of our hybrid working schedule, on a permanent basis.**

As the Head of IT (Operations) you will report into the CFO and work closely with the IT leadership team and other business SME’s and functional leads to contribute and collaborate in the design, implementation, operation, and support of technology solutions and systems. You will also participate and contribute to overall enterprise business model, operating model and business strategy development and support the development of governance processes, and performance metrics to ensure technology deliver value to Mayborn’ s global business.

**What you will be doing**:
**Strategy & Planning**
- Contribute to Mayborn’s strategic plans and lead the development of IT strategic and annual operating plans.
- Establish relationships with executives and senior leaders, acting as a trusted advisor on technology solutions and services.
- Ensure reliable, sustainable, cost-effective, and secure delivery of IT services.
- Stay updated on new technologies and provide direction on their assimilation into the enterprise.

**Service Operations**
- Take responsibility for IT Service Delivery across Mayborn, acting as a conduit between the IT team and business colleagues.
- Own and maintain the IT Service Management framework, driving continuous improvements.
- Align IT services with wider business challenges and ensure proactive delivery.
- Manage major incidents, expedite resolutions, and own major incident review documentation.
- Lead Change Management activities, considering business impact and maintaining a stable and secure state of service operations.
- Oversee Mayborn’ s Cyber Security operating plan delivery to enhance defences.

**Process Improvement**
- Improve ITIL maturity while maintaining agility within the technology teams.
- Establish controls for successful audits and reduced risks.
- Support the achievement of ISO27001 and ensure robust IT Service Processes.
- Develop the IT Service Delivery Annual Operating Plan and monitor performance.

**Leadership & People Development**
- Build and maintain an IT workforce with the necessary mix of business knowledge and technical skills.
- Manage team performance, ensuring alignment with company values.
- Implement and manage Personal Development plans to foster growth and potential.

**Project Management**
- Lead the planning and delivery of the IT Services project portfolio.
- Act as the lead project manager for high-priority developments and improvements.
- Ensure appropriate project management controls are in place for successful outcomes.
- Provide escalation and develop mitigation plans when projects are off track.
- Champion good project management practices across IT functions.

**Quality and Communication**
- Ensure quality in all IT deliverables and drive continuous service improvement.
- Own the IT Stakeholder Engagement & Communications plan, maintaining effective service communications.
- Maintain intranet presence, provide service notifications, enhance cyber awareness, and deliver user guidance.

**What you’ll need to succeed**:

- Previous experience working in a similar role.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in IT, Information or Data field, or equivalent
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex, and transformational initiatives.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and influencing skills.
- Strong strategic thinking, planning, and execution abilities.
- Ability to execute a strategic people plan and manage diverse teams.”
- Experience of outsourced IT Service Desk and Technical Infrastructure and Security Operations (Managing third party service providers)
- Experience of managing a 24/4 global IT operation
- Strong knowledge and experience of the emerging cyber threat landscape and introducing counter measure strategies and solutions.
