Ark Nursing & Care Agency is the largest, private, family-run nursing agency in North Devon. We work with the NHS, Social Services, private Care Homes and caring for families in the local community. We are a small team at Head Office and work closely with each other to ensure the best care is delivered to our clients.

Experience in an care agency or social care is preferred but not a necessity.

Job Role:
To assist in the smooth running of the office and to ensure that all client shift requests are dealt with efficiently and effectively and to ensure client and personnel confidentiality is kept at all times. In addition the job is to provide an reception service in our Head Office alongside other administrative work to support our care homes.

You will be required to work on an on call rota in a rotational basis with other staff, covering the telephone for one evening a week and on call weekends in line with a rota with the other office staff. All on call is paid with a bonus plus any working time.

Working hours - The role can either be a full time position or it can be a job share with another individual throughout a two week rolling rota of days in the office with one weekend on call a month + one evening week.

Skills required: IT skills required due to various bespoke programmes used.
