An at times, demanding but always extremely rewarding role. One that involves you being responsible for organising and co-ordinating weddings here at Beaconside.

From the couple’s initial viewing and commitment to book with us, you will be working closely with them from this point until their wedding day / weekend.

They are putting their trust in you and it’s important that you are genuinely invested in creating their dream wedding.

You will need to be a good listener in order to gain a full understanding of the couples vision, their preferences, requirements and budget. It will then be your duty to ensure all needs are met, their journey is as smooth as possible and their wedding is everything they hoped it would be.

This role also involves working closely with external suppliers such as caterers, entertainers, florists etc. In addition, to ensure everything runs smoothly, it’s essential a good working relationship is built with other members of the Beaconside team

You will need to work calmly under pressure, be pro-active and able to delegate clearly and concisely when necessary.

Creating a beautiful, stress free wedding is a joint effort, everyone needs to be invested and so good communication and problem solving skills are essential.

Ensuring all aspects of our weddings are meticulously managed is key to being successful within this role. Around 60% of your time will involve written communication, accuracy both grammatical and numerical is essential.

Do you offer:
Experience within the hospitality industry.

Excellent communication and organisational skills.

You’re computer literate ideally with a good understanding of social media.

Have accurate written and numerical skills.

You’re extremely organised with exceptional time management skills.

Calm under pressure, pro-active and able to multi-task / delegate when necessary.

Able to be flexible regarding working hours and not with one eye on the clock.

Have a desire to learn and progress within the business.

Have emotional intelligence, are smart, professional, personable and empathetic. Preferably also a sense of humour
